On the 39th floor of the Pierre Hotel, an anonymous tenant is paying $500,000 a month to live in NYC's most expensive rental apartment, leased by Therese Bateman and Andres Perea-Garzon of TOWN Fifth Company. With 4,786 square feet of living space, six bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms—as well as the Presidential Suite—the amenities are endless. While overlooking Central Park, tenants are attended by a language-specific butler and an on-call physician and have access to two restaurants, a daily maid service, a concierge service and a chauffeur with a Jaguar, Gothamist reports. How long has the mystery tenant decided to stay? Until the end of this month—what a glorious holiday retreat!
